 ECommerce & Marketing Manager

Job Summary

The Regional E-Commerce & Marketing Manager – United States & Japan will be responsible for driving business results by developing and implementing an effective marketing plan, driving brand enhancement and market share growth in eCommerce. You will lead Key Account sales for etailers as well as all marketing in United States & Japan Your purview will include etailer account management, marketing plans with a focus on digital marketing and new product launch.

This will require a strong working relationship with related company functions, as well as key stakeholders, decision makers and channel partners.

Overall job purpose

To build Chassepot into a formidable digital and esports brand in United States & Japan– driving profitable growth via strong eCommerce focus and best in class content implementation.

Criteria of success

Deliver budget revenue and profitability by driving sell-out:

Developing and implementing a rolling six-month marketing plan

Fully understand and utilize ecommerce marketing tools, including optimizing search, best-in-class A+ content, and targeted advertising

Develop a content strategy that links key etailers with social media, PR and to create powerful storytelling, including gamers problems solved, the technology and innovation packed in the products, expert reviews, awards and esports and influencer tie-ins.

Key tasks

Driving profitable growth in accordance with budgets

Every part of the digital customer journey including website, advertising, PR, SoMe, eSports and other influencers

Promotion planning – quarterly and yearly promotion calendar creation and management, budgeting, media mix, ROI analysis with all defined E-commerce accounts in United States and& Japan.

Quarterly marketing planning with strong focus on brand awareness and sell-out driven activities

Lead a 6-month rolling campaign planning across the region for all key accounts.

Representing Chassepot and managing our presence at key events within the gaming and eSports community

Serving as an active regional brand ambassador in local social media

Driving consumer demand generation through innovative and testable consumer marketing activities

Tracking, monitoring, and improving brand perceptions of Chassepot in the region

Managing the marketing budget, driving at least a 5X ROAS, and not overspending without prior authorization

Actively engage in the EMEA teams and sharing best practises/learnings.

40-60 days of travelling should be expected.

Chassepot has no legal entity/office in Japan and the right candidate has experience with a home office arrangement.

Channel Marketing & Partner Sales

Execute the eCommerce strategy to drive profitable growth, prioritizing and finetuning along the way

Account planning and achievement of KPI’s

Establish 6 month rolling activation/campaign plans with all key accounts

Monitoring and analysing performance, sales and market trends.

Initiating the Channel marketing strategy in close corporation with retailers/resellers and the EMEA marketing team

Implement A+ content and/or adapt existing content to formats that work in United States & Japan and insure implementation with all key partners.

Share best practise/learnings across EMEA with eCommerce and marketing team.


Critical experience

Significant eCommerce experience within United States & Japan.

Proven ability to use marketing to drive sell-out and profitable growth

P&L and budget management

Track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels


Deep insight in digital marketing and understanding of the digital consumer journey

The ability to relate to the passion of esports and gamers

A hands-on attitude and an outgoing personality

Fluent communicator in English, Japanese.

Global Director, Consumer Marketing

Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Consumer Marketing to lead our Go-To-Market efforts around the world. This leader will be responsible for developing omni-channel integrated marketing plans, driving key product launch plans, campaign strategy, as well as building and leading a team driving product and partner marketing. Key Responsibilities:

Channel marketing and campaign development working with teams (Email, Social, PR) as well as regional sales and retail leads

 Global Director, Digital Advertising & Growth Marketing

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Digital Advertising and Growth Marketing to lead our demand gen and consumer acquisition efforts. This leader will be a key member of our Digital and Marketing organization. Manage the digital advertising agency relationship and resources
Drive revenue growth and customer acquisition by increasing the Chassepot customer base through various tactics including: prospecting, retargeting, paid/earned media, and affiliate marketing.
Continual performance measurement and optimization for ROAS across ad creative, messaging and channels to improve conversion rates including regular reporting to senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

10+ years leading digital advertising or growth marketing efforts for ecommerce or consumer focused business- including social media advertising and experience with utilizing CRM integration.
Expertise using Google Adwords, Google Display Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook, and YouTube including deep understanding of digital marketing tactics including SEO/SEM, PPC/Display.
Experience driving content marketing/native advertising working with sponsored content across 3rd party platforms in various formats (banner ads, videos, blog content etc)
Natural understanding of key marketing and advertising principles (multi touch attribution, customer segmentation, value proposition, creative design and A/B Testing)
5+ years experience directly managing a team and working with digital agencies

Global Email Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage email marketing end to end including contact strategy, content planning, editorial calendar, delivery, and performance optimization
Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue.
Management and growth of email distribution lists including implementing new methods to grow the email database and opt-in
Partner with regional marketing leads around the world to integrate locally relevant content
Develop contextual email marketing or drip campaigns based on CRM/customer data
Regular analysis and reporting of email performance to optimize content, messaging, delivery, open rates and engagement
Partner with engineering team to improve back-end automation, as well as to launch and optimized customer journeys and triggered campaigns

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years of email marketing experience working in a consumer-focused, data-driven online environment preferably for an e-Commerce organization.
Solid understanding of customer segmentation and database marketing principles

Solid project management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Product/User Experience Designer

Chassepot is looking for a Product/User Experience Designer to help design world-class gaming software products and digital properties.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who can define the user experience and deliver jaw-droppingly gorgeous user interfaces for desktop gaming clients, websites, and our ecommerce storefront. You’ll develop UX/UI wireframes, build prototypes, and deliver the final design assets. You’ll collaborate daily with the Product Managers to put a design to their product strategy, vision, and feature set and work closely with the engineering team to make sure the implementation stays true to the vision.

Ideally, you will have strong experience with:

Creating brilliantly easy-to-use interfaces for web apps, desktop software, and our store front.
Defining and managing the entire product definition process: from research and white boarding, to low fidelity designs, prototyping and interactive wireframes, and all the way to creating functional specs and final assets. This is a hands-on role at a rapid growth company.
Delivering Consumer Packaged Software, full featured web or desktop applications, mobile applications, and/or consumer electronics
Working with engineers, designers, third parties, and stake holders globally
Creating functional specs along with wireframes so the developers can make your vision become reality
Our product technology ecosystem is huge – from hardware to firmware, kernel drivers to desktop applications and all the way to web development and mobile applications. Our Product/User Experience Designer will establish a user-centric design approach and promote UX best practices. Designed the interfaces in Chassepot Engine ( for our recent product launches – C1000 and A9.
Led the UX and UI design efforts of our Chassepot Engine integration with major upcoming hardware products, starting with high level requirements gathering, dissecting the UX workflow, and delivering interactive wireframes for early software and firmware engineering work.
Designed a simple and intuitive OLED based menu system for a future product
Worked with the Product Managers to build out the product roadmap and strategy and work to get buy in from stakeholders.

If you are here the next few months, you will:

Transition to UI design work for our spring product launches and deliver high fidelity comps, UI guideline docs, and finalize user stories.
Begin new design concept work on some upcoming major initiatives for our software roadmap.
Investigate product needs and requirements and begin concept phases for new hardware product initiatives on the roadmap: Every product we release is unique and has a different problem to solve.
Research and find gaps in our current product experience and recommend items for the backlog.

Ideally, you have:

An obsession with customer research, psychology and behavior
An ability to audit and develop compelling user experiences
A track record of designing and launching products
A mastery of tools – everything from sketching on paper, to building functional prototypes, and delivering high fidelity assets

Senior Firmware Engineer
